![]() Today, I finally had a bit of time to go for a walk in the Old Montréal. It was raining, but the walk was very pleasant nonetheless. Oddly enough, parts of the old town reminded me of Zagreb and Vienna. Unfortunately, early April is not exactly the best time to visit Montréal - to be honest, early April is not exactly good time to visit anywhere in Canada. In the summer, the streets and sidewalks would be lined with vendors and cafés. Most of the shopkeepers were actually distinctly grumpy today. There are several good camera stores on the Notre-Dame street where you can handle the latest digital equipment as well as fondle Old Leica M3s and new MPs and M7s. Not that anybody I know would get too excited about it ;-) P.S. I am editing these images on a laptop so things like colours and tones might be a bit off - It’s hard to judge on an LCD. Edit: Oooops... forgot to sharpen this one... | |
