 In no particular order, here are a few interesting photoblogs: diveShore by Mamoru Hosaka I am currently reading Richard Harrington: Canadian Photographer. It’s absolutely fascinating. I have a mountain of books I am trying to get through and I keep getting more of them because of Oryx, a small used bookstore that opened across the street from where I work. They have absolutely amazing selection of books - including photography books. I usually don’t photograph cars and I don’t know anything about cars (heck, I don’t even own one). I do know that this is an Impala, but you obviously don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to figure that one out. The thing is that auto focus on my LC1 is sluggish and I am trying to figure out the best manual focus setting (there are several options), so big curvy and contrasty static subjects are great testing ground. Here is a sadistic time waster if you find yourself in a bad mood. | |
