 This is Dr. Ed Doherty, Liberal candidate in Saint John Harbour, my riding. You can read an interview with Mr. Doherty in tomorrow’s Coalfish. Since we are talking politics, it would seem that Jack Layton is not the only one who thinks that sooner or later we’ll actually have to negotiate with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Also, it would seem that Canada’s Foreign Affairs minister Peter MacKay and Ms. Rice had great time in Nova Scotia. As the The Star put it: STELLARTON, N.S. - The world's most influential diplomat and Ottawa's most eligible bachelor seem to be hitting it off. And some comic relief for the end of this post.
