![]() Ceiling in our living room sprouted a mysterious leak. The only thing that is above it is our daughter’s bedroom and I have no idea where is the water coming from. It hasn’t even been raining last few days . A plumber is supposed to show up on Monday so right now we have a big pot underneath the leaky spot which reminds me of every bad gag and joke ever made about leaky roofs. Anyways, I have a couple of links to share. The first one is a short video on Leica Freedom Train. Leicas hold a lot of prestige and mystery in the world of photography and I’d be lying if I said I would not like to try shooting with one. A story like this ads an extra layer to the legend. As you have probably heard, Annie Leibovitz has made an official portrait of the Queen Elizabeth II, which, like most of her recent perfectly lit and executed work, leaves me, well, cold. The problem with that is, of course, that it is easy to criticize the work of others without having to step up to the plate and do it better. In non-photo news: a friend asked me to sign on Facebook and so I did. To be honest, I still can’t quite figure out what is the purpose of it, but then again, it’s not like I am the most social person around either so there you go. I guess the on-line world is made for A personalities as well. This is a laundry line in South End. I have been shooting a lot of film lately and am planning to develop some soon, so until then you (and me) are stuck with this digital stuff. | |
