![]() My little girl loves Johnny Cash (and is convinced that lenses are edible)! Some odds and ends: The Globe and Mail has a story on Early French Immersion fiasco in New Brunswick. My favourite part is this quote from NB education minister Lamrock referring to the office of the ombudsman: But, it’s okay to act immediately on a flawed report prepared by an unelected official. Right? Words fail me...'Waiting a year for an unelected office to give us advice would be a waste of a year of a mandate. . . . The decision is not going to change.' Ever heard of the story of six Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug native leaders jailed for preventing mining company from pillaging their land? No? Me neither. Media, as usual, does fabulous job of covering aboriginal issues in this country. Here is a three part documentary on VII photographers covering the war in Iraq: Part I, Part II and Part III Take a look at Magnum feature 40 years since Martin Luther King’s Assassination.
