 We spent the entire yesterday morning in the Irving Nature Park and enjoyed every minute of it. This is Miss F. running on the boardwalk through the saltwater marsh in the park. A good friend (who does not have a blog, but probably should have one) gave me a great present yesterday: Larry Towell’s book In the Wake of Katrina. It’s a remarkable document. Towell also did a multimedia feature called Katrina that I would really encourage you to watch. The feature is a great companion to the book. Also, the latest edition of Walrus magazine has a feature about Towell. He has recently completed what looks like an amazing film entitled “Indecisive Moments.” Croatian word of the day: sunce sun [soon tze] | |
