 This is going to be a blatantly political post. What are the editors at the major US and international papers smoking? Whatever it is, it must be potent stuff. Here are some samples:
For heaven's sake, the man is a monster. He is not talking about spreading freedom. He is talking about more invasions, more war, development of nuclear weapons, more torture, more pre-emptive occupations… Hello!!! Ever noticed his uniforms, his epaulettes, his total disregard for his own dead soldiers-never mind the Iraqis. This man talks about freedom while surrounded by snipers, bodyguards, bulletproof glass and a screened audience. There are some dangerous times ahead of us… This is Gull Lake in Alberta, near Red Deer. Fans of Muhammad Ali should check this out. | |
