 It has been almost a year since these ladies last graced the pages of this blog. It's time. Especially since I have a big photographic announcement to make. I did it. After months of agonizing, weeks of research and endless consultations with other photographers I bought my first digital camera. In fact the little lady in this picture made that final click. Panasonic LC 1 is the only digital camera I have actually been excited about. I was hoping to find something portable, but yet high quality enough to serve as a working camera as well as a transition to digital. I am not about to give up film, but I think LC1 is a camera that I will like working with. I do have to wait for a few days to actually get my hands on the one I bought. I ended up ordering it from The Camera Store in Calgary. It was cheaper, much cheaper that way. So stay tuned and sometime next week you should see the first digital shots on this blog. Now, I would like to ask for help. Any excellent no nonsense Photoshop books out there. I think I have to learn a couple of extra functions beside Unsharp Mask and Curves ;-) | |
