![]() Dear visitors, I am afraid that you are in for some pictures-from-Canada type of thing :-) We had one day of sunshine recently and the rain is back. Well, one can take only so much of being cooped up inside a house in June, so we decided to go for a hike no matter what. Little girl - who likes to pretend to be Puss in Boots, Little Red Riding Hood and a host of other characters - doesn’t take kindly to car rides so we decided to go somewhere close by. Hammond River Park is located just outside a town called Quispamsis. It’s one of those places that you would never be able to find on your own. It was wet and it rained a little bit, but once we entered the thick cedar groves that did not bother us much. We walked for hours along the muddy river banks and among the tall maples and cedars. It was beautiful. The black and white, gritty photojournalism will be back in a day or two. | |
