Canada Day

Phew, times fly. I have been busy, busy, busy… And all that work will hopefully lead to some good photographic news. And, with a little bit of luck, it might lead to some quite interesting and exciting changes. That’s all I am going to say right now.

In one of the comments on a previous photo Louise noted how we think and worry about people we have never met in real life. That is so true. I am probably not going to meet most of the people who comment on this site (although I would very much like to). So thank you to all those who stop by on a regular and not so regular basis. One of the people I did meet through this blog isJoe and – man, oh man – he is full of ideas. Really good ones, too, but more on that later – I have to follow up with some of his own contacts.

Today in the news is this interesting item about an Indian photographer Sharad Haksar who is fighting Coca-Cola in court. Lovely display of corporate citizenship.

This photo was taken on Canada Day in Kouchibouguac National Park in New Brunswick. What I really like about this photo is subtle display of Canadian symbols that is oh so Canadian! There is a little flag tattoo on the girls arm and a little Maple Leaf on the boys arm. That's it.
