![]() Saint John Vineyard is a very active church located on Carmarthen Street in South End. The outdoor service held in the parking lot at the corner of Carmarthen and Queen Streets was a boisterous affair with a band and quite skilled story tellers sharing their life stories and religious experience. Although I am not Christian, or religious for that matter (blame it on communism, inborn cynicism or just plain lousy personality), I could definitely see the appeal of a gathering such was this one. It was positive, friendly and accepting, which is more than most people get in their day-to-day lives. Here are few curious links for the day… Share this one with your local pigeons – It’s Party Time in New Zealand. Google executives apparently found out that what goes around comes around: Google says its mission is 'to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful.' But it does not appear to take kindly to those who use its search engine to organize and publish information about its own executives. Check out this Russian photoblog. | |
