![]() This is another image from the Vineyard Church service in a South End parking lot. The gentlemen in the story is a fairly good storyteller with a typical East Coast flare for it. I have been following the Gaza pullout and I am not sure at all that it is a good thing. Forcing people out of their homes is not a solution. How is this going to contribute to actual peace process is beyond me. This is probably a good time to link to extensive Magnum coverage of the conflict. The latest feature is by Alex Majoli, but you should also check out the work of a Canadian Larry Towel, and an Israeli photographer Misha Bar Am. If you search the site you will find a lot more than I could link to. Also, look for a new Canadian photojournalism magazine C-ing. And I don’t know if this is cool or sad, but for what it’s worth here you can find a war photographer action figure courtesy of Ron Galbraith. And although I only spend money there and have no stake whatsoever in their operation, I want to highly recommend The Camera Store from Calgary for all your photographic needs. Fantastic customer service. | |
