![]() The Hague has a very quiet charm. We spent a lot of time walking in its streets. During our stay in The Hague our daughter was still getting over her colic and a midnight walk around the Queen's working palace was more of a rule than an exception. It was the only think that would eventually put her to sleep. One of The Hague’s principal historic attractions is mediaeval 'Binnenhof' (Inner Court). The court is dominated by the parliament complex and the Hall of Knights, a 13th century hunting lodge. Today the Hall of Knights serves as a special ceremonial meeting place. During our stay in The Hague, for example, the International Criminal Court was inaugurated here. | |
